Mysore is a style of practice that is traditionally taught in Mysore India,where it originated under the guru Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.  Traditionally a student is taught this method first before led primary to slowly let the student find their breath, discover a bit of the bandhas and  learn the proper vinyasa and movement through all the postures.  It is not a led class the way most classes are, but rather, your breath is your teacher. This may seem intimidating, there is always someone there to guide you in your movements and help  when you need. It is a beautiful way to develop a relationship with your breath, which is your prana, or life force. This renewed awareness helps purify the body and the mind and cultivates a path to self discovery: pure magic. Mysore is by far the most effective and safest way to learn the practice and is available to all levels.
